The Salon des Arts Ménagers (home and household fair) has more than sixty years of history in Charleroi: people came from all over
Belgium, with family or friends, to discover the latest home products, find a clever gadget and taste regional produce.
The event disappeared for seven years, after the bankruptcy of Charleroi Expo and the conversion works at the Grand Palais.
The 2025 comeback —
From 1 to 16 November 2025, the fair made its big return: around 25,000 people on the very first day, a record,
and some 150,000 visits in total. A successful bet that has encouraged the organisers to think bigger in 2026.
An XXL 2026 edition —
For this 67th edition, organised by Succès Events, more than 350 exhibitors are announced across about 30,000 m²:
household appliances, interior fittings, decoration, housing, leisure, mobility and crafts. The big new feature is an extra hall
entirely dedicated to cars, from second-hand vehicles to exceptional models, including racing cars. An Artisans' Village also
showcases local makers and craftsmanship.
Every day —
"Good Morning Charleroi" opens the day at 10 am in the Studio, followed by the "Chefs' Studio" around noon
(local chefs and cookbook authors, Madame Thermomix, Phil en cuisine, Eric Boschman…) and the "Grand Jeu" game at 2 pm.
Street performers roam the aisles of Halls 1, 3 and 5: stilt walkers, jugglers, a fire breather, magicians and a balloon artist.
Oberbayern's Bavarian atmosphere —
The cult band is back on the Paix Dieu stage from 11 am to 7 pm at weekends, on Monday 2 November and Wednesday 11 November.
On the Guinguette stage, brass bands, singers and DJs take over in the afternoon.
Halloween opening — Saturday 31 October —
Opening show at 9:45 am, a Halloween craft workshop for children and the show "Les potions du sorcier Ephitelion".
Improv tournament —
An inter-city improv tournament between Brussels, Mons, Namur and Charleroi on the "Scène de ménage" stage on Saturdays
7 and 14 and Sunday 15 November. The audience votes for its team; fair admission is included.
Meet & greets and book signings —
Throughout the fair: GOUM and the Marsupilami (4 November), Étienne Huvelle (6 November), Gérald Watelet and Estelle Laus
(7 November), Eric Boschman (12 November), Cynthia Kafka, Vincent Guyard and Nicolas Vadot (14 November),
Adeline Krasniki (15 November), as well as dancers and players for autograph sessions.
Catch of Legends — Wednesday 11 November —
Beginners' seminar, meet & greet and then a big wrestling show from 3:30 pm, followed by a photo and signing session.
The two late openings —
On Saturday 7 November, DJs and a party until 10 pm (the "Maurizio and Friends" concert is ticketed separately).
On Saturday 14 November, a big night with the "Believer" (Imagine Dragons) and "4U" (U2) tribute acts, Mister Cover, DJs
and the Belgian premiere of the film "Le Gang des souris vertes" with François Troukens in attendance.
For families —
On Saturday 14 November, "Les p'tits fans" brings the cult 1980s TV show back to the stage: ten children sing a Belgian song
in front of the audience. Sunday 8 November is devoted to well-being (morning wake-up, Pilates, osteopathy, massages).
